Papilomatoza laringiană se prezintă sub forma unor multiple formaţiuni tumorale papilare la nivelul corzilor vocale, de unde se pot extinde spre benzile ventriculare, epiglotă şi în cazuri rare spre trahee şi bronhii. Afectează atît copiii, cît şi adulţii.

Papillomas nose evoluţie agresivă a patologiei în condiţiile unor bolnavi nesupravegheaţi poate provoca blocarea căilor papillomas nose. Este recunoscută ca o afecţiune gravă, recidivantă. Algoritmul de tratament constă în ablaţia chirurgicală şi medicaţia antivirală.
